We believe everyday access to performance nutrition and healthier snack alternatives can play a practical role in a stronger fitness culture. SIV brings these choices into military gyms and training facilities, with an agreed share of profits returned to support unit PT, sport, equipment and activities.
Our vision
A Defence community where access to suitable nutrition, participation in physical activity and investment in unit sport reinforce one another—creating more opportunities for personnel to train, take part and achieve together.
Make better choices more accessible
We aim to give personnel convenient nutrition choices that fit around service life and training. By working with unit representatives to agree suitable product ranges, we bring sports nutrition, drinks and healthier snack options into the facilities personnel already use.
Our interactive screens make product and nutrition information available at the point of purchase, helping customers choose according to their needs and preferences.
Encourage a culture of participation
Our ambition is for SIV machines to contribute to the wider gym experience. Alongside access to nutrition, our screens can provide a platform to promote unit challenges, celebrate achievement and encourage participation in PT and sport.
We want SIV to be part of an environment where physical activity is visible, encouraged and shared across the unit.
Return value to the unit
An agreed share of profits from sales is returned to the organisation, providing income that can be reinvested in PT, sport, equipment and unit activities.
This creates a direct connection between the vending service and the community around it: purchases generate income that can help support further opportunities for fitness and participation.

Grow through lasting partnerships
Our aim is to bring this approach to more Defence establishments while maintaining a service responsive to each location. We work with existing providers and unit representatives to establish suitability, agree the product range and service arrangements and review performance over time.
